Speaking fluent English is not an essential skill in the workplace. If you can speak a language fluently, it doesn't mean that you will automatically get a job. However, if you are up-to-date with your language skills and are able to showcase that to potential employers, then it will definitely help.

Speaking English opens up a world of possibilities in both your professional and personal life. Employers will see that you are dedicated and have a work/study ethic if you can demonstrate that you have acquired a foreign language such as English. It also demonstrates that you are a diligent and hardworking individual.

Speaking English is a language that can be understood by all. For this reason, it is the most widely spoken language in the world, with about 6 billion people speaking it as their first language. Spoken English has many benefits for both native and non-native speakers for example pronunciation accuracy, clarity and coherence.

Spoken English is more than just a language. It is also a career field that offers opportunities to all kinds of people with different skill sets and backgrounds.

  • There are two types of careers related to Spoken English
  • Job opportunities through English learning centers and schools, which can provide full-time or part-time employment and pay either hourly or by the project
  • Career opportunities through the National Association for Foreign Language Teachers (NAFT), which can provide membership benefits, publications, conferences, etc.
