"How do I go to..." says the narrator. - This is the most straightforward method of requesting directions. When you say this, the other person will either inform you the mode of transportation to use (bus, subway) or explain your path to you. Go straight. Turn left. Turn right. Walk along the post office. Take the first (street) on your left/right. Walk over the bridge. Stop at the crossroads. At the traffic light turn left/right.
