Saving Files in Illustrator

Saving files in Illustrator means that you can edit your drawings without losing the original file. This makes it easier for you to change colors or add new elements without having to redraw the entire drawing from scratch.

When you open an Illustrator file, the program will automatically create a document for you. If you want to save your work, select File > Save As and choose where to save it.

To make this conversion, open Illustrator and open the AI file you want to alter. Choose the part of the image you wish to transform, then 'File' and 'Export.' Select 'PNG' from the dropdown menu and click 'Export.' You should now have a PNG file saved somewhere on your PC.
