Before you can use Select > Same, you must first use Object > Expand to make the Live Paint object into a regular filled object. Because this cannot be undone, if you wish to maintain the Live Paint object, create a copy of it before enlarging it.
Click the Enlarge button in the Control panel or go to Object > Live Paint > Expand to expand a selected Live Paint group.
