How to Conduct Yourself during an Interview?

  • Make a good first impression.
  • Look each other in the eyes.
  • Don't get stuck in a rut or appear bored.
  • Make gestures with your hands.
  • Maintain a decent posture.
  • Make sure you're at the right place in front of the camera.
  • Maintain your concentration.
  • Don't do anything that will cause you to become distracted.

When preparing for an interview, there are some things you should keep in mind:

  • Do your research on the company and the position. Know what they do and how they operate.
  • Practice answering questions about the company - their mission statement, what sets them apart from other companies, etc.
  • Practice answering questions about yourself - your skillset and strengths, why you want to work at this company/position, etc.
  • Prepare a list of questions that might be asked in the interview - these should be focused on specific topics such as compensation or benefits.

If required, do a practise run. Arrive 15 minutes early if possible. Clear your schedule before and after the interview so you may concentrate entirely on the occasion. You don't want to be busy with other things that need to be done that day if you want to give the interview your whole concentration.

The most common questions asked during an interview are:

  • What is your greatest strength?
  • Why should we hire you?
  • Where do you see yourself in five years?
  • What are your weaknesses?
  • What are your past experiences?
  • How would you resolve a dispute with a coworker?
