In this video, we will learn about image tab in detail.

In image tab, go to mode option. To change your image in black & white, select grayscale. Mostly, we have to work in RGB color mode. There are different types of modes available in image tab.

After that, you will see adjustments option under modes. To change brightness/contrast, first tool is used. Levels is a tool in Photoshop, which can move and stretch the brightness levels of an image histogram. It has the power to adjust brightness, contrast, and tonal range with complete black, complete white, and midtones in a histogram.

Same way, curves allow you to choose which portion of the tone scale you wish to adjust. By adjusting the point as shown, you can adjust tones. Exposure tool makes any image sharp. In short, to change color effects of any image, adjustments tool are used.

Further, vibrance option increases the intensity of the more muted colors. Hues/saturation is used to change color of any object of any image very easily. It is explained with the example of car. You can use hue, saturation and lightness to change the color. Also color balance can change the color of object. In that, you have to adjust cyan, magenta and yellow to red, green and blue accordingly.

To make an image or a portion, black and white, select it. Then apply black & white from adjustments tool. Also by adding and changing tint, you can make an attractive image.
