FAQs

Rigging is a difficult but essential phase in the animation process. The body of a character can be articulated in a systematic way using rigging. Trying to animate a character without it would result in a distorted, malformed model.

Building a structure to turn a static image into an animation is called character rigging. Character rigging artists will use a modeller's static image to generate individual rigs for each aspect of the character, such as face expressions and limb movements.

Rigging equipment allows huge loads to be safely moved from one location to another on a construction or industrial site. Chain blocks, winches, lever blocks, cranes, mechanical hoists, block and tackle, trolleys, lifting slings, pulleys, sheave blocks, and other devices are examples of these equipment.
