Progressive Looping can be used to create a walking cycle:
Open the Time Editor and import an animation clip.
Choose a clip from the tune.
Make sure the Clip Loop Before and After Modes in the Attribute Editor are set to Progressive.
On the Time Editor toolbar, click the Loop icon.
Drag the animation clip's beginning or end.
To begin, what exactly is a walk cycle animation? A character makes two steps in one second in a standard walk cycle animation (24 frames). However, the beginning and last steps connect to form the same stance, allowing it to be looped multiple times.
Progressive Walks consists of three or six forward or backward steps.
