To select a different point style from the available options, use the PTYPE (Command) to change the point style type. All points that were previously hidden should now be visible.
To make a point, type PO, press enter, and then click on a point in the drawing area or enter the coordinates of the point you wish to make. The point will display as a single dot in the drawing area by default, and you can use these points to reference your work.
AutoCAD objects should be divided into equal portions. You may divide 2D drawing objects like Line, Polyline, Arc, Spline, and Ellipse into equal pieces using AutoCAD's DIVIDE and MEASURE commands without knowing their length. Instead of splitting the geometry, these commands will add a point at each division.
Navigate to Home > Utilities > Point Style or use the "PTYPE" command to retrieve your point style options. (Note that the "DDPTYPE" command is still functional, but it is now deprecated.) You can adjust the form and size of your points in this section.
