How to Use Drawing Tools - Ellipse and ARC

Click Draw > Ellipse > Arc to create elliptical arcs (or type Ellipse, then specify the Elliptical arc option). Axis start point should be specified in the graphics area.

An ellipse or an elliptical arc is created. The first axis' position and length are determined by the ellipse's initial two points. The distance between the ellipse's centre and the second axis' end point is determined by the third point.

You may make an arc by combining values for the centre, endpoint, start point, radius, angle, chord length, and orientation. By default, arcs are drawn in a counterclockwise manner. To draw in a clockwise motion, hold down the Ctrl key while dragging.
