Drafting tab > Modify panel > Mirror is the tool set. Modify > Mirror is the menu option. To make the opposite half of a design, create objects that represent half of the drawing, select them, then mirror them across a defined line. Note that when you mirror a text object, the text's direction is not changed by default.
To use the MIrror command, follow these steps:
To ensure sure no command is active and no objects are chosen, press Esc.
On the Home tab's Modify panel, click the Mirror button, or type MI and hit Enter.
To end the object selection, select at least one object and hit Enter.
On the items in a drawing, do editing operations such as erasing, moving, and trimming. The most frequent of these tools may be found on the Home tab's Modify panel.
The MIRROR command saves data that can later be utilised to restore files using the UNDELETE and UNFORMAT commands. In the event that the original information becomes unreadable, MIRROR makes a copy or MIRROR of it.
Modify tools, as their name suggests, are used to alter existing lines and objects. The most widely used edit tools in AutoCAD will be explained in this chapter.
