FAQs

Key frames are typically used to animate an object by changing its location, size, rotation, or other parameters over time.

There are three types of key frames in After Effects: Position, Rotation, and Scale.

Animation is a term for the process of creating a sequence of images, usually in order to create an illusion of movement. Animation is achieved by manipulating objects on a frame-by-frame basis. In traditional animation, each frame is drawn by hand on paper and then scanned into an electronic format.

There are two types of keyframe curves: linear and Bezier curves. Linear curves will move an object from point A to point B with constant speed, while Bezier curves will allow you to change speeds along the way.
