How to Begin Using Cameras
To begin working with a camera, pick layer > New > Camera from the timeline panel. A camera configuration dialogue box will appear when you create a new camera layer.
This is due to the fact that using After Effects 3D camera tools allows you to not only browse but also employ cameras in 3D space. Well! You can use the keyboard shortcut C to switch between four different camera tools. Unified, Track XY, Orbit, and Track are some of the camera tools available.
At the current moment when the Video switch is chosen, the active camera is the highest camera on the Timeline panel. The active camera view is the viewpoint from which final output and nesting compositions are created.
After Effects 3D is being used. Simply choose the 3D layer switch in the Timeline or click to Layer > 3D Layer to change a layer from 2D to 3D. Press the Toggle Switches/Modes button at the bottom of the Timeline panel if you can't see the 3D layer switch.
All you have to do in After Effects is enable 3D for a Layer to create 3D space. To enable 3D for that Layer, click in this box on the right side of the Switches column here. I have X, Y, and Z for the position of this Layer now that I've enabled 3D.
