In After Effects, the Composition panel is one of the most significant. When creating an After Effects project, you work in the preview window and the main animation space. This panel allows you to create animated projects and includes options for changing how your composition previews.
Hold down the mouse button if the button has a little triangle in the lower-right corner to see the hidden tools. Then, on the tool you wish to use, click it. Enter the tool's keyboard shortcut. (Hovering the pointer over a tool button displays a tool tip that includes the tool's name and keyboard shortcut.)
A composition is made up of layers, which are the ingredients that make it up. A composition is nothing more than an empty frame without layers. To make your composition, use as many layers as you need.
It is well worth the money. After Effects and a slew of other software are included in the Creative Cloud Suite subscription, and any one of them could pay for the membership on its own.
