Implementing various Effects in After Effects Part 1

To create an adjustment layer, go to Layer > New > Adjustment Layer. Place the layer over the clips you want to modify (Mac: Option + Command + Y; PC: Alt + Control + Y) and apply the effect. Then, on that Adjustment Layer, apply Neat Video and other effects.

  • Begin working on a new project.
  • Use layers, blend modes, and effects to your advantage.
  • Add some movement to the scene.
  • Create the effect of a handheld camera.
  • Effects can help you fine-tune your composition.
  • Make a backup of your project.

Save your own effect as a preset and give it a name if you want to use it on subsequent clips. It will appear with the other effects in the Effects window. You can then choose numerous clips by holding down the "CTRL" key while clicking them. Drag your new effect to one of the clips once it's been selected.
