A layer that allows you to make colour and tonal modifications to your image without affecting the pixel values permanently. Experiment with colour and colour tones with adjustment layers. An adjustment layer can be thought of as a veil that hides the underlying layers.
There are 16 adjustment layers in Photoshop.
Make sure the Properties panel is visible, or go to Window > Properties. To apply the adjustment to just the layer underneath it, pick the adjustment layer in the Layers panel and click the Create Clipping Mask icon at the bottom of the Properties panel.
On Photoshop, there is no option for a toolbar in the menu bar.
Zoom tool (Z) enlarges or reduces the size of your image.
Moves your photo in the Photoshop Elements workspace with the Hand tool (H).
Change the tool (V).
