Go to the tool bar and select the "Brush tool." "Brush preset picker" is the first menu in the option bar. This menu shows different types of icons, which are actually different types of brushes that are available. Now, press the tiny wheel symbol.
Create A New Photoshop Document.
Select The Brush Tool.
Choose a little round brush.
Make that the foreground colour is black.
Inside the document window, paint a series of horizontal brush strokes.

If the Brushes window isn't displayed, select Brushes from the Window menu. Select Brushes to Import. Select Load after opening the ABR file for the brush or brush pack. In the Brushes window, the new brush (or brush pack) appears.
