Go to Filter > Filter Gallery to open the Filter Gallery. A huge dialogue box with a preview of your image on the left and filter options on the right appears (see below).
When none of the filters can be applied to the open image, the Filter Gallery in Photoshop is greyed out. The Filter Gallery hasn't been updated in a long time, and it's only available for certain colour modes and photos with 8 bits per channel.
By clicking the New Filter button at the bottom of the filters list, and then selecting a filter, you can apply many filters at once in the Filter Gallery (Filter > Filter Gallery). You may do this again and again, adding as many filters as you want!
The Filter Gallery lets you see a preview of how an image will look after applying a specific filter. You can preview the effect in the gallery rather than going through a big number of filters one by one and applying them to an image.
The UI is lag-free, and the filters (or filter, singular — you get Gaussian Blur and that's it) are immediate. It may be used with a finger or an Apple Pencil, and all of the tools support pressure sensitivity and other sophisticated features of Apple's pen where applicable.
