You can quickly import your character artwork from Photoshop into Unity for animation using the 2D Animation package and the PSD Importer package. More information about the importer's functionality may be found in the PSD Importer package documentation.

The 2D Animation package contains features and tools for rigging and animating 2D characters in Unity in a number of ways. The following versions of Unity are compatible with the various versions of the 2D Animation package.

Exporting 3D animations from Unity to Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro can be done in a few different ways. The first way is to use the Unity animation module to export the animation as a sequence of 2D images. The second is to use the Unity game engine's rendering options and export the animation as individual frames. Lastly, you can use a plugin for either of these programs and import your 3D assets from within Unity.

To start using Unity for 2D character design and animation, you need to download the software on your computer or laptop. After that, you have to decide if you want to use the free or paid version of Unity. If you are a beginner, then it is best if you choose the free version of Unity so that you can learn how to use it better before deciding whether or not you want to buy it.
