FAQs

Illustrator is simple to learn since anyone can learn its tools and how they work. Being familiar with Illustrator, on the other hand, is an entirely different storey. To achieve this, you must be patient and continue to practise. Because you will only be able to master it and make wonderful arts if you practise.

Photoshop is pixel-based, whereas Illustrator is vector-based. Photoshop is a raster-based picture editor that works with pixels. Photoshop is a programme for altering and generating raster-based art and pictures. Illustrator lacks the ability to create master pages in the same manner that InDesign does.

There are many shapes that come with Illustrator, but if you want to create a custom shape, then you need to use the Pen Tool.

The Pen Tool is located on the left side of the toolbar, and it looks like a pen. It is used to draw vector paths and curves.

To create a custom shape using the Pen Tool:

  • Click on the Pen Tool in Illustrator's toolbar
  • Draw your path by clicking and dragging your mouse
  • When you're finished drawing your path, double-click on it to get back to editing mode

Some of the features of Illustrator are:

  • It has many tools for drawing and painting like pen, pencil, brush and eraser.
  • It has a powerful selection tool which lets you select any part of the image you want to work on.
  • You can use it to create gradients or blend colors together with its gradient tool.
  • It supports most file formats like JPEG, GIF, PNG etc.
  • You can also import photos from your camera or phone into Illustrator to edit them like adding filters or changing the color balance etc.

Illustrator is a vector graphics editor developed by Adobe Systems, first released in 1987. It is used primarily to create graphics, illustrations, and logos. Illustrator is a good choice when you need to create logos or illustrations with shapes and lines. It's not the best choice if you want to create photos or images that are realistic in appearance.
