FAQs

Page Authority is a metric that's used to measure how often a website appears for certain keywords or phrases. The metric was originally developed to measure how often websites appeared for brand names, but it’s now used to measure how often websites appear for any words at all.

Page Authority (PA) is a Moz score that predicts how well a page will rank on a search engine results page (SERP). If you want to appear at the top of a browser's search, you must consider all SERP elements. This score, like the Domain Authority rate, runs from 1 to 100.

Create links to the page you're working on. Spread the link juice from high-PA pages to lower-PA pages. Make sure each page is jam packed with relevant information. Increase the authority of your domain. Remove any damaging links from your page on a regular basis.

A score of 40 to 50 is considered average. A Domain Authority of 50 to 60 must be considered good. The Domain Authority is considered excellent if it has a score of more than 60.

The different types of Page Authority can be classified into two categories:

  • Domain Authority
  • Visibility with search engines
  • Social Authority
