Google released two significant improvements back-to-back in June and July 2021. The previous core upgrade occurred in December of 2020. The July 2021 core update was a thorough update that changed the entire algorithm somewhat, but not any function directly, as is typical of core updates.

Keywords are used in part by the Google algorithm to determine page ranks. SEO is the most effective approach to rank for specific keywords. SEO is a method of informing Google that a website or web page is on a particular topic.

We update our search algorithms and processes regularly. "Core updates" is how we refer to them. They're intended to guarantee that we're meeting our aim of presenting searchers with relevant and authoritative content. As a result, Google Discover may be impacted by these fundamental modifications.

Regularly, Google makes modest modifications to its algorithm. They may release many updates in 24 hours. These improvements are usually minor, and you won't notice a decline in search page rankings due to them.

Last year, Google released three major core algorithm adjustments (2020), and Google has made seven rather important algorithm updates this year (2021). The most recent update was the July 22nd broad core upgrade.
