Each pin has a distinct purpose. The number of digital I/O pins on its hardware is restricted. By attaching a Pi wedge B + expander chip to the Raspberry Pi hardware, you can add 16 digital I/O pins. Digital input is a separate signal (digital signal) sent to the Raspberry Pi.
A digital output is a digital signal that is drawn from the Raspberry Pi. An LED is used to display a digital output. If the led flashes, it indicates a HIGH voltage signal, and vice versa. 1.1 LED Pins: LEDs have a two-pin connector.
Analog inputs cannot be read by the Raspberry Pi computer. It's an all-digital computer.
