Connect the VCC pin of the joystick module to the Arduino's 5V pin. Connect the Arduino's GND pin to the GND pin of the joystick module. Connect the A0 on the Arduino to the VER pin on the joystick module. Connect the A1 on the Arduino to the HOR pin on the joystick module.
Software on the Raspberry Pi can control multiple servos at once. A servo can be controlled by each numbered GPIO pin. However, using the Raspberry Pi to power the servos is not suggested.
The analog joysticks found in gamepads are similar to the Joystick module. Two potentiometers are mounted at a 90-degree angle to make it. The potentiometers are attached by springs to a short stick. When in resting position, this module produces an output of roughly 2.5V from X and Y.
