Joystick Interfacing through ADS1115 with Raspberry PI

Connect the ADC to the Pi in the following manner:

  • ADS1x15 VDD -> 3.3V Raspberry Pi
  • Raspberry Pi GND to ADS1x15 GND
  • Raspberry Pi SCL to ADS1x15 SCL
  • Raspberry Pi SDA to ADS1x15 SDA

The ADS1115 is a 4-channel 16-bit Analog-to-Digital converter with I2C interface that considerably enhances measurement accuracy over Arduino and related uCs' built-in ADC.
