In Autodesk Inventor, creating a BOM is an essential step of the design process. Using the Bill of Materials wizard in Inventor, you can create an engineering drawing with all necessary information and attach it to your project file.

Bill of material (BOM) is a list of parts and materials that a product contains. The BOM is usually located in the lower right-hand corner of the 3D model.
