In Autodesk Inventor, a line is the basic geometric entity that can be drawn on the screen. A line can be created using either a standard or per-directional command. When creating a line, the user must specify its number of vertices and its location along with the thickness and color of the lines.
In Autodesk Inventor, there are different types of lines. A line is a straight or curved object that extends between two points in space. Lines can be straight or curve to create an object such as a beam, a pipe, or a surface.
Make construction lines as follows:
1st, turn on the route.
2 To exit the Route command, right-click and select Done if you're in the middle of generating the next route point.
3 Right-click a sketched route point in the parametric region in the Model browser or graphics window and select Draw Construction Line.
Step 1: Use a line command to create an object.
Step 2: Define the starting place.
Step 3: Select the direction and length of the line you wish to create, then press the Enter key.
Step 4: Do not exit the command line.
