  • A hash method of delete is a method in Ruby that can be used to delete an item from a collection.
  • In the following example, we will use the hash method of delete to remove an item from a list.
  • Remove("item")
  • If the item does not exist, then it will return nil.

There are three other ways to delete a value from a hash:

  • Using the unset function
