When you know how many times the loop should run, you should use a for loop. Use a while loop if you want the loop to break depending on something other than the number of times it runs.
The difference between a for loop and a while loop is that in a for loop, the number of iterations to be performed is already known and is used to obtain a certain result, whereas in a while loop, the command runs until a specific condition is met and the assertion is proven untrue.
