A texturing program is a program that allows the user to create textures for 3D models. A texture is an image that describes the surface of an object or surface. The textures in 3D graphics programs are created by assigning colors, patterns and other features to surfaces.

There are many different ways to create a lighting effect. The three common characteristics of a good light effect are:

  • having an even distribution of light
  • using the light in conjunction with shadows and colors
  • using the light to heighten mood or atmosphere in your artwork.
