Scatter plots use dots in two dimensions to show how much one variable is affected by another or the relationship between them. Scatter plots are similar to line graphs in that they plot data points using horizontal and vertical axes.
We can identify linkages and patterns that might otherwise go unnoticed if we modelled our data around individual data points by representing data structures as graphs. Machine learning on graphs aids in the encoding of graph structures that machine learning models can then exploit.
Graphs are a popular way to visually represent data relationships. A graph's goal is to convey data that are too many or complicated to be fully expressed in text and in a limited amount of space. However, graphs should not be used for small amounts of data that could be expressed in a single sentence.
