Distribution Models in Machine Learning - Part 1

Continuous Probability Distribution Types:

  • For several reasons, the normal distribution is the "go to" distribution, including the ability to approximate the binomial distribution, as well as the hypergeometric and Poisson distributions.

Because we need to take a sample and estimate the characteristics of the population distribution, sampling distributions are significant in statistics. As a result, in order to make inferences about the whole population, distribution is required.

The process of getting items to customers is known as distribution. Rice being carried from Asia to the United States is an example of distribution.
