Use the drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of any page to select New repository.
Type a repository name that matches your GitHub account in the "Repository name" field.
Add a description of your repository if desired.
Select the Public option.
Select Create a README for this repository.
Name. Choose a self-explaining name for your project.
Description. Let people know what your project can do specifically.
Create a new repository with your username to create a ReadMe for your GitHub profile. Create a ReadMe.md file in the repository, and anything you write in it will be visible in your GitHub profile. The ReadMe is an excellent area to introduce yourself and showcase your accomplishments and talents.
