Multidimensional Arrays

An array with more than one dimension is known as a multi-dimensional array. It's an array of arrays, or an array with several levels. The 2D array, or two-dimensional array, is the most basic multi-dimensional array.

You may make an array of arrays in C programming. Multidimensional arrays are what these arrays are called. The array has a capacity of 12 items. Consider the array as a table with three rows and four columns in each row.

In MATLAB®, a multidimensional array is one that has more than two dimensions. The two dimensions of a matrix are represented by rows and columns. Multidimensional arrays are two-dimensional matrices with additional indexing subscripts. Three subscripts, for example, are used in a 3-D array.

/ A C programme to input and print a 4D matrix. Use: A 4D array can be used to store a set of data. For example, suppose we input three coordinates and one time, i.e., x, y, z, and t, and we want to see if two vehicles collide.

In C programming, you can create a multi-dimensional array, which is an array of arrays. For instance, consider the float x[3][4]; x is a two-dimensional (2d) array.
