Phone Properties in Android

In this video we are going to understand phone properties in Android.

The telephony manager also provides access to several static form properties.

Now suppose if we want to know that when we are getting incoming call, what is the call number then we use following code.

String incomingCall=null;

if(telephonyManager.getCallState()==TelephonyManager.CALL_STATE_RINGING)

incomingCall=telephonyManager.getLine1Number();

We can also acceps SIM and network operator details, network information and voice-mail details by using following code.

String srvcName=Context.TELEPHONY_SERVICE;

TelephonyManger telephonyManger=TelephonyManager()getSystemService(srvcName);

String networkCountry=telephonyManager.getNetworkCountryIso();

The phone class in Android provides this interface, letting us control hardware settings.

To access the phone hardware, use the Phone class, available through the Telephony Manager using the getPhone method.

We also have specific code for answering, dismissing, and ending calls.
