Use the Enter key or the Search button to find what you're looking for. Use the drop-down choices below the search box to filter your search results.
Open My Maps on your Android phone or tablet.
Create or open a map.
Tap Add in the lower right corner, then Add a new point.
Select this location by dragging the map until the X is where you want it to be.
Give the new location a name and a layer.
Don't forget to tap Done.
On Google Maps, look for a location.
Open the Google Maps app on your Android phone or tablet.
Tap the search box at the top and type in an address, a place's name, or a category, such as gas stations or grocers. Tap Speak to use voice search.
To locate a location, enter coordinates.
Open Google Maps on your computer.
Put your coordinates in the search box. Here are some examples of effective formats: 41.40338, 2.17403. Decimal degrees (DD): 41.40338, 2.17403. 41°24'12.2"N 2°10'26.5"E in degrees, minutes, and seconds (DMS). 41 24.2028, 2 10.4418 in degrees and decimal minutes (DMM).
You can choose whether or not your browser can use location.
Open the Settings app on your Android device.
Place your finger on the map. Permission to use the app.
Select your browser app, such as Chrome.
Allow or deny location access for the browser app.
