Re-center the map and display your present location, which will be marked with a blue dot, by clicking the blue-and-white target symbol near the bottom-right corner of the map. A context menu will appear when you right-click the blue dot on the map.
Any Android device's current location can be obtained in one of two ways: The Location Manager API for Android. Google Play Services Location APIs are a merged location provider.
On the map, locate your present position.
Open Google Maps on your computer.
Click My location in the lower right corner. Your position is indicated by the blue dot.
Permissions for receiving location updates should be specified in the manifest file.
As a reference to the location service, create a LocationManager object.
LocationManager can be contacted to request a location.
When your location changes, LocationListener will send you an update.
