Open the Google app on your Android phone or tablet.
Tap your Profile photo or the initial Settings Search widget in the top right corner.
To change the colour, shape, transparency, and Google logo, tap the icons at the bottom. Don't forget to tap Done.
Use searchView to access the text of SearchView. getQuery() is a function that returns a query.
The SearchView widget can be added to a ToolBar/ActionBar or a layout. The setIconifiedByDefault(true) function of the SearchView class makes the SearchView collapsible and iconified by default. SearchView utilises the setIconifiedByDefault(false) function to make the search field visible.
