Using Android API we search for different places in our Android device, this is possible with the help of Google Play services which facilitates adding location awareness to your app with automated Location tracking, geofencing, and activity recongnition.
The Android Location manager gives location in terms of longitude and latitude for the location of the phone. Depending on the location provider the accuracy of location will vary.
The key Android plumbing for location is Location Manager and Location Provider. Location manager which provides the coordinates, while Location provider which can make a number of trade off to offer the user the capability they want.
Geocoder is a process of transforming a street address or other description of a location into (latitude,longitude) coordinate.
Latitude and longitude can only be understood by application. We need to convert it into human readable form.
The amount of detail in a reverse geocoded location description main vary.
