Camera in Android
In today's video our topic is Camera in Android.
If we talk about Cameras in mobile phone, it is very essential part of a device. Back then people were using rear camera only, but now a days mobile phone also have Front camera in it for user.
We are going to learn, how to include camera in our Android application and how to design camera based application.
In Android we can work on camera by Camera Intent or by Camera API. There are mainly four classes that we are going to discuss, Intent, Camera, SurfaceView, and MediaRecorder.
We can create camera application without creating any camera class, object by using intent. We can create constant of intent for achieving this task.
We can use Intent like ACTION_IMAGE_CAPTURE_SECURE to return the image captured from the camera, when the device is secured or ACTION_VIDEO_CAPTURE to call the existing video application in android to capture video. We can also use EXTRA_FULL_SCREEN to control the user interface of the View image.
So in this way we can use different Intent types to perform certain actions.
