A factory is a basic method that allows us to add logic to an existing object and then return it. The factory can also be used to develop and return reusable code that can be used anywhere inside the application.
The factory function is an angular function that returns values. When a service or controller need it, the factory creates a value on demand. Once created, the value is reused across all services and controllers.
Services are function Object() { [native code] } functions of the object that are instantiated using the new keyword, whereas factories are functions that return the object.
