FAQs

Many built-in directives, such as search, are available in AngularJS. AngularJS also allows us to design custom filters if necessary, which we'll go over in this piece. To develop a custom filter, AngularJS provides a simple API. You'll recall that we employ an application.

  • Use the NSAPI functions to write the source code.
  • Create a shared library by compiling and linking the source code.
  • Edit the Magnus to load and initialise the filter.
  • Edit the obj to tell the server to insert the filter.
  • Restart the server if necessary.

In AngularJS, a Filter is used to format the value of an expression so that it may be displayed to the user without modifying its original format. If you want your string to be in lowercase or uppercase, for example, you can use filters.

In AngularJS, filters can be used to prepare data such that it can be displayed on a user interface without affecting the original format. The pipe | symbol can be used to add filters to an expression or directive. It's used to change the format of a number into a currency. Its purpose is to convert a date to a specific format.

To develop a custom filter, we simply need to register the filter in our module's factory function. Internally, "filterProvider" is used. By default, the input value is passed as the first parameter to the new filter function, and the factory function returns the new filter.
