Tally is a manufacturing process that is used in the production of the most common types of plastic bags that are used in grocery stores and retail outlets. The manufacturing process includes operations such as extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, and even thermoforming.
The main operations in Tally are extrusion, injection molding and blow molding. Extrusion is a key operation because it forms plastic pellets from raw materials into thin tubes. Injection molding is then done to complete the shape by forcing molten material into a cavity where it cools down to form a solid part. Blow molding happens when air pressure causes air to be injected into molten material at high speed while it’s still hot.
