Go to Tally's Gateway and select Accounting Vouchers.
Press F7 to open the Journal.
Select or create a Debit Ledger and enter the appropriate amount.
Choose or create a Credit Ledger and enter the appropriate amount.
Press Enter or Ctrl-A to begin.
To get a deposit slip, go to Tally's Gateway > Banking > Deposit Slip. The Select Bank screen appears, with a list of banks. Press Enter after selecting the desired Bank account.
