Go to Gateway of Tally > Bank Reconciliation > select the required bank. 2. Click B : Import . The import progress bar is displayed followed by the Success message with count of Total Entries in Bank Statement , Reconciled transactions and Additional Bank Entries.>Select the required file format in File Type field. >Select the file to be viewed.> Click I: With View.>Press Esc if you do not import the bank statement. >Press I to import the bank statement.

The system supports both cash and card transactions. The transfer modes: ECS (electronic money) and NEFT (non-cash) and can be used to pay bills online, shop online or make payments through EFTPOS both in India and abroad. In Tally. ERP 9, the facility is provided to make payments & receipts using the transaction types - ATM, ECS and Card. To enable these transaction types, click F11: Features >F1: Accounts and set the option - Alter Banking Features to Yes.

The "bank statement" is the sum total of all your transactions on your bank account during a specific period of time. It contains all the information on what you've spent, how much you've spent, and what you've got left. Bank statements are one of the most important documents you have to submit to your bank. They contain your account number, your date of birth, your name, and all pertinent information that is required to satisfy the requirements of your personal bank account. This information is used by every bank keeping a record of all transactions done on their accounts.
