A block library is a collection of Simulink® blocks that can be used in a model. You can use built-in Simulink libraries to construct instances of blocks, or you can create custom libraries for your own instances of blocks. The Simulink Library Browser provides access to the built-in libraries.
Create time-based and event-based models, select solutions, and store simulation state. In a Simulink® model, SimEvents can coexist with time-based systems. Simulating large-scale complicated hybrid systems is made easier by combining time- and event-based models.
Simulink is a tool for modeling and simulating dynamic systems that includes a graphical editor, customisable block libraries, and solvers. It's compatible with MATLAB®, so you may use MATLAB techniques in your models and export simulation results to MATLAB for further analysis.
Click the Library Browser button in the toolbar of the MATLAB desktop or Simulink model window, or type simulink at the MATLAB command line to open the Library Browser. Note Only Microsoft Windows platforms support the Library Browser. The Library Browser is divided into three sections.
Simulink is a Model-Based Design platform for embedded systems that allows for system-level design, simulation, automatic code generation, and continuous testing and verification. A graphical editor for modeling all system components is one of the most important features.
