Scatter plots use dots in two dimensions to show how much one variable affects another or the relationship between them. Scatter plots are similar to line graphs in that they use horizontal and vertical axes to plot data points.
When we represent data structures as graphs, we can identify linkages and patterns that might otherwise go unnoticed if we modeled our data around solitary data points.
