KNN is an abbreviation for "K-Nearest Neighbour." It is a machine learning algorithm that is supervised. The algorithm can tackle classification and regression problem statements. The sign 'K' represents the number of nearest neighbors to a new unknown variable that must be predicted or categorised.

The k-nearest neighbors algorithm (k-NN) is a classification method. A graph connecting each point to its k nearest neighbors is known as a nearest neighbor graph (k-NNG).
