The difference between the two procedures is that with pyplot. plot(), whatever property you apply (color, shape, or point size) is applied to all points, whereas with pyplot. scatter(), you have more control over the look of each point.
However, graphs are not only useful as structured knowledge repositories: they also play a key role in modern machine learning. Machine learning applications use graph-structured data as feature information to create predictions or identify new patterns.
