Select Catalog > Categories from the drop-down menu.
To create a category, use the Add Subcategory button.
Fill in the details for the new category.
Create a new category with new content.
Customize the Display Options.
Fill in the Metadata.
Change the category of the products.
Go to Catalog > Categories and select the Category where you want the CMS block to appear.
Add the CMS block you want to add to the Content section.
In the Display Settings, change the Display Mode to Static block only or Static block and products.
Because the Root category is the highest level of category, it cannot be deleted while it is active or has a store associated with it. As a result, if you want to delete a root category, you must first determine its status.
In Magento 2, the root categories serve as a container for the main menu. When you have many stores and want to display different categories as a root category in each store, you can use this method. You can do so using Magento 2!

Its a great course for magento beginners, contains all basic topics used in magento.
One thing I want to suggest is that please update quiz and course as nor Magento is upgraded to 2.4 version and course is for Magento 1
